Community Collaboration to Improve Health of Northwest Arkansas

In 2018, Northwest Arkansas health care organizations, public health departments, and community partners came together for a comprehensive community health survey project.

The survey received 1108 responses from the four county Northwest Arkansas area and identified many health needs in the area.

Results of the Community Health Survey indicate that residents in the four-county Northwest Arkansas area are most concerned about health issues related to obesity, diabetes, and mental health. Participating organizations will use the results to better inform and direct their community health efforts and to better understand and care for the populations they serve.
